We at Fillmore Farms believe that if we feed the soil what it needs to produce a good crop, great results in the flavor and health of the crop can be expected. We amend our soil regularly with earth-friendly and CCOF-approved (Certified California Organic Farmers) amendments. As a result, you may find our certified organic walnuts to be the greatest-tasting walnuts you've ever eaten.
Our walnuts are grown, hulled, dried, shelled, and packed in our own on-site facility. We don't process anything but our own walnuts at our site so there are no peanut, wheat, soy, dairy, or other food-based allergens present on our equipment.
To maintain freshness, our walnuts are stored in our on-site refrigerated facility.
We are a certified organic grower. Our walnut trees thrive from organic compost and other organic soil amendments. We also foliar feed the trees several times each year. This combined with other organic, earth friendly, common sense farming practices has produced clean, high yielding orchards.
