YouthGrow Summer Gardening Camp is an exciting outdoor exploration-based camp that teaches youth about growing natural whole foods, while connecting children to the wonders of nature.
Campers will explore outside, learn valuable gardening skills, get creative with arts and crafts, enjoy fieldtrips to local organic farms, learn how to cook food from the garden, and have some serious fun in the sun! YouthGrow campers will also have the unique opportunity get hands-on involvement growing food for the community in a fun learning environment with the Laurel Valley Educational Farm Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program and Farm Stand.
YouthGrow Summer Camp is for children ages 7 to 11, with week-long sessions from June to September. You can sign your child up for one or more weeks online at www.youthgrow.org
The YouthGrow program is a partnership between the Northwest Youth Corps and the School Garden Project of Lane County.
YouthGrow is a summer camp for 7-11 year old kids in the Eugene/Springfield area put on by Northwest Youth Corps and the School Garden Project.
From worm bins to water fights, campers will enjoy: arts 'n crafts, outdoor fun and games, field trips, science experiments, cooking, gardening, making new friends, and most importantly getting dirty outdoors!
