Lavender Hills Farm and CSA

New for 2014: Our "Market Share" CSA. Buy what you want in the amount you want, at the Farmers Markets we attend or at our Farm Stand, also new for 2014. We are still growing!! We are trying to add new things every year. We set up our high tunnel late last fall, and are looking forward to growing into and possibly through the winter, with some greens, carrots, and other products which may grow in a colder climate. We are located in Carroll County, Maryland. We are currently scheduled for the Hampstead Market, Saturdays, 9 - 12, starting June 7, 2014. Along with our naturally raised produce, we will also be raising our broiler chickens (pasture raised) for market and offering our eggs (also pasture raised). We had trouble with our honey bees last fall, will be getting new packages this spring. We hope to have honey in 2015. Sorry for the delay, we are trying to determine what the problem may be with keeping our hives through the winter. We also raise Cormo sheep for their wonderful fine wool and attend numerous fiber shows throughout the year. Cormo is a fine wool, so very soft and comfy to wear. We offer fiber ready for spinning or yarn, ready for your knitting or crocheting pleasure. We raise our animals and grow our produce free of chemicals and pesticides and use no growth hormones. We are sending out our 2nd CSA notification, there are a few spots left. We are limiting the number of members this year to get a feel for our new CSA set. Please email me for the CSA newsletter.
