Randy and Marianne Jackson own the Lazy J Ranch located in Rochester, IL. They raise 6-8 head of beef each year and sell to local buyers. The cattle are purchased locally, fed local feed and are butchered within 20 miles of the Ranch. If you are concerned about your carbon footprint--worried about the use of antibiotics and growth hormone (we don't use them) and want to know where your beef came from--this is the answer for you!
Cows are butchered in September and are sold by the quarter, half or whole. Cows are raised on lush pasture and supplemented with corn from the local area. While our cattle are not certified organic, they are raised in a humane setting and are well treated.
