L'Ecuyer Gardens

Whether you are looking for quality cattle by the hoof or semi or perhaps in search of the sweetest strawberries around, L'Ecuyer Farm & Garden is a celebration of agriculture. We are big and small and we love growing things that nourish our bodies and our souls. Produce -We raise fresh produce most months of the year. Ask what is in season. We offer visitors a pick you own green bean and sweet corn patch. Look for our asparagus bed to open in 2013. Flowers-Just in time for Easter and through Mothers Day we will have the hanging baskets and planters that are sure to please. Check out our color and availability. Bedding Plants, Plugs & Liners-We offer a complete listing of heirloom and exotic tomatoes as well as other hard to find items. We have pricing for the weekend gardener, avid gardener and farm marketer. Cattle -Our base herd is a Red Angus Gelbveih mix at the base. We select our bulls and breeding stock to provide high quality genetics. We feed and care for our animals to ensure their health and vitality. The end result is an animal able to gain weight and provide the right amount of marbling. In recent years we have experimented with a few lines by adding both Wagyu and Akaushi lines. Poultry-We also custom raise chicken. We start with a Cornish hen broiler and feed out the animal over six to eight weeks. Your final product is a bird with an average weight of 31/2 pounds. The breast is very large and delicious. We raise a limited number of hens each year so if you would like to learn more make your reservation today. Eggs- We offer farm fresh chicken and guinea eggs. Do you like brown or white or maybe an exotic green?

Have you ever picnicked in the woods with your kids... or watched a curious chicken walk up and inspect a cat sleeping under the clothes line filled with the day's laundry? Thought you would make a decent farm-hand? Wished to find joy in simple things? Our farm is filled with so many simple pleasures. We would love to share them with you. Our girls look forward to our annual morel hunts, a lazy Sunday spent at a favorite fishing spot and playing in the dirt.
