Lemon thyme comes in several plant varieties. We have both a bi-colored as well as a green leaf variety. Some stems may be found in your jar as the thyme is picked by hand, dried and then the leaves are plucked by hand. It takes approximately 1 hour to finish hand processing and plucking thyme and it is our most labor-intensive herb.
Use lemon thyme leaves in Mediterranean cuisines. Marinate meats in infused vinegars with thyme or in combination with other herbs. Use with cream cheese or sour cream for dips, poultry, shellfish, game, boiled potatoes, hot vegetables, and broths.
