e chickens and ducks we raise for poultry are processed on our farm by us, and are sold directly to you, so that we can keep track of every step of the process and ensure better quality.
We are deeply committed to farming in a way that takes as its foremost consideration the long-term health of our land and the environment. While we're not currently certified organic, our methods square with those outlined by the organic standards, and once our transitional period is up in February, we will likely apply for certification. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have additional questions as to sourcing, materials used or agricultural practices.
We are newly established as of fall of 2012! In the 2013 season, we are offering shares in a 25 week CSA which includes all the products listed above, and will be offering our farm's produce in local markets and at our self-serve farm stand, which is located onsite at our farm, and will be opening in March. There's no better food security, and no truer definition of "local food" than knowing the people and place where your food came from personally. Come check us out! We're super rad, and super excited to be here on the central coast.
