L'Etoile is a fine dining restaurant that was established in 1976. Our seasonal menus are inspired by the artisans and small sustainable farms of the Midwest and are rendered with a French technique.
L'Etoile passionately supports Wisconsin farmers, therefore, regardless of season, local, organic and naturally-raised ingredients are always on our menu. L'Etoile emphasizes personable service in a relaxed and comfortable second-floor dining room overlooking the Capitol Square in the heart of downtown Madison. Our award-winning
wine list surveys most regions of the world with particular emphasis on the small, artisan producers of Northern Europe.
L'Etoile's Cafe Soleil is located on the street level of L'Etoile's building.
