Life Force Farm is a small diversified, year round, organic vegetable CSA. We offer spring shares, summer shares and fall/winter shares and give out freshly harvested and washed produce once a week at the farm as well as have pick your own flowers and herbs.

Vegetables include: arugula, green beans, beets, broccoli, cabbage, canteloupes, carrots, chard, cucumbers, eggplant, garlic, jalapenos, kale, leeks, lettuce, mesclun mix, mustard greens, onions, parsnips, peas, peppers, potatoes, pumpkins, radishes, shallots, spinach, summer squash, winter squash. tomatoes, celeriac, basil, dill, chives, oregano, parsley, sage, thyme, cilantro, rosemary, annual cut flowers, soybeans, dry beans, blueberries, bok choi, Brussels sprouts, celery, collards, edible flowers, turnips, scallions, and watermelons. I am also experimenting with several grain and dry bean varieties for personal use.

I will be intensively managing the soil health by balancing the chemistry and enhancing the biology using organic practices. This will enable the plants to harvest the nutrients they need to become robust which means they will be more insect and disease resistant and have better flavor and nutrition. I also will be doing heavy straw mulching to keep moisture in, reduce weed, insect and disease pressure, and build organic matter. All of the seedlings will be grown in a wood fired greenhouse.

You will receive a diverse array of vegetables and herbs for 20 weeks during the growing season. The organically grown produce will be freshly harvested and washed and available for pickup at the farm 2 days a week. There will also be a raised bed section where there will be cut flowers and kitchen herbs available for self harvest. I hope to balance the soil chemistry and build up the biological activity so the plants thrive and obtain the maximum flavor and nutrition.
