Our Lime Mint for SPRING PLANTING is now ready to ship!
Plant either in the spring after the last frost or in the fall 2 to 3 weeks before first frost. Keep moist and provide plenty of sunshine until the first frost approaches, then mulch to protect from the winter weather.
Lime Mint leaves can be used fresh or dried and make a relaxing cup of tea all by themselves. Add to any other herbal tea in small amounts. Lime mint can be used like spearmint: in teas, fruit salads or as a garnish. Try making a Lime Mint honey to flavor other herbal teas. Just empty honey from an 8-ounce jar into a saucepan and heat over low heat until it gets thin (don't boil). Add 6 -8 fresh Lime Mint leaves and stir gently; then pour the warmed honey back into the jar and seal.
