We are a small family run farm that grows hard neck garlic and Genovese basil using organic methods. We then produce 6 varieties of All Natural Pesto. The 6 varieties include, Traditional, Garlic Lover's, Honey, Maple, Sole Verde (scape pesto) and Vegan pesto. Our product is frozen to preserve the freshness. It is shipped on dry ice. When you are ready to use it, let it sit on your counter for 30 to 40 minutes, let it get icecream soft. Take out what you need and re-freeze the rest! Tastes fresh every time!
We use the traditional authentic recipe from Genoa Italy. We use ONLY fresh grown basil and fresh garlic. (We do NOT substitute IQF basil, dried basil or dried garlic.) We use Extra Virgin Olive Oil first cold press (We do NOT substitute a cheaper olive oil or a blend of soy and canola oil like most pesto found in stores.) We use both Parmesan and Pecorino Romano cheese and we use only Pine Nuts (We do NOT substitute with a cheaper nut i.e.-walnuts.)
Our pesto is a truly artisinal food product. It is handcrafted in small batches. We manually produce, pack, label and visually inspect every container. This guarantees our customer receives the same quality product every time they purchase. We produce in our own certified and licensed commercial kitchen.
