Conway Family Farms, LLC

Our family farm began with the purchase of our small acreage in 1990 and has now evolved into a licensed source for Grade A Raw milk and cheese among other wonderful farm-fresh food products! What started out as an adventure in providing a wholesome living environment to raise our children in, has subsequently turned into a passion in preserving agrarian lifestyles. We would love to share with you some of the intrinsic benefits that we enjoy from good, clean, country living. In 2006, our farm was honored with a nomination for the SARE Patrick Madden Award and we feel privileged to have received an honorable recognition for our efforts in creating a sustainable farming enterprise. You may learn more about the award at Our farm enjoys a unique web of activities that are all interrelated. We have been a licensed Grade "A" Raw Milk goat dairy offering goat milk for sale since 2005. In addiiton to the raw milk, we produce a variety of delicious goat cheeses that sell at our own farm store as well as New Seasons Markets in Portland and Vancouver. In 2012 we became home to the first underground cheese aging cave in Clark County and will begin releasing our aged goat cheeses in 2013. Our lovely sheep provide woolen products for sale, and fertilizer that we use on the blueberries and in the gardens. In addition to woolen products from the sheep, we have also developed some hand creams from lanolin that are wonderful natural skin conditioners. We have a modest blueberry field that provides organically cultivated delicious blueberries for a delightful U-Pick experience. We have worked diligently to establish enterprises from our small acreage that compliment one another. We are always happy to share our successes (and failures) with other interested farmers-to-be or interested urbanites, so please don't hesitate to contact us with your questions. The mission of the farm is to promote and preserve agricultural living and the family farm through sustainable production of quality farm fresh merchandise marketed directly to the public. It is our goal for consumers to know the story of their purchases: where did it come from, how was it cared for and how was it produced to its current state at the time of sale.
