Turquoise Barn

Turquoise Barn is a vegetarian bed & breakfast located in the western foothills of New York's Catskill mountains. Come spend the night or the weekend on our organic farm in a converted 1800's carriage house. What makes our place beyond your traditional B&B? For starters, we are offering healthy, organic vegetarian/vegan, and live food breakfast options such as fresh juices, green smoothies, sprouted breads, scrambled tofu or fresh organic eggs from our chickens. Choose a vegetarian, vegan, raw or combination meal from our menu in the evening and enjoy your breakfast outside overlooking the pond in the morning. All food will be organic and local, with as much coming from our farm as possible. Dinner options are also available upon request. You can also choose to sleep under the stars on the farm at our camp & breakfast! We also offer raw and living food workshops and retreats which occur year round (please check our website for schedules). Classes include an intro to raw living food workshop, live breads & crackers, nut milks, desserts, ethnic specialties, live soups & dressings, weight loss meal-planning and more. We cater to all levels, whether you are new to raw foods, curious, or just want to spend the weekend jumpstarting your raw food diet. so gather a group of friends or come to meet other like-minded people for the weekend to relax, learn, & get healthy! Individual and private classes are available by request. Currently on the farm we have organic vegetable & flower gardens, chickens, and a small apple orchard. there is also a woodshop/studio and a gallery where we sell our furniture, jewelry and art produced by us. In addition, we sell local products (maple syrup, honey, beeswax candles) and have a small seasonal farm stand next to the gallery. Periodically events are held in the gallery, such as music, movies & openings.
