Beyond Organic - Chemical Free - Non-GMO Originally established in 1909 and revived in 2009, this historic farm of Trinidad's past stands as a tribute to the farming practices of old. Our focus is in growing traditional heirloom vegetables and fruits, as well as raising pastured pork, and cabrito. We respect and nourish the land that provides for our well being and we take our time to produce nutritious and delicious whole foods. We rely as little as possible on fossil fuels and our bed forming, seeding, weeding, and harvesting are done by hand. Our pork is %100 pastured, grazing on grass, fallen apples & pears, and receiving a healthy portion of goat milk. Our goats spend the winter/spring months on the farm grazing with the pigs and chickens. They spend the summer/fall up on our mountain ranch eating all the mountain mahogany, pinon, and acorns they can find. We are working towards traditionally herding our goats back and forth between our two properties, by foot! Now accepting farm interns for the 2011 growing season. Space is limited. Email for details.
