Thompson Family Farms

Thompson Family Farms is a family farm operation growing seasonal produce. Our farm is located on Dewey Hogan Road in north Walton County. In addition, we are farming the Thompson homeplace of another 80 acres located in the Campton Community. We have a produce stand located north of Monroe, Ga on Hwy 11 where we only sell what we grow! Everything is picked each morning and brought to the stand... taken to local farmers markets on Saturdays.. or taken to the Atlanta State Farmer's Market for sale. David Thompson with his two sons, Will and Clay work very hard to provide a quality product. We take pride in providing locally grown produce which we feel tastes better and helps consumers know where their food is coming from. We are a certified Georgia Grown farm. We utilize this logo in all of our advertising! Summer 2011: Bi-Color and Sugar Sweet Corn, Colored Butterbeans, Green Lima Beans, White Butterpeas, Pinkeye Purple Hull Peas, Blue Lake Green Beans, Watermelons, Cantelopes, White and Purple Eggplant, Tomatoes, Squash, Okra, Cucumbers, and a variety of Peppers (Sweet to Hot). Fall 2011: Cabbages, Collards and Broccoli. We utilize a bean sheller to provide shelled peas and butterbeans in Quart or Gallon Ziplock Bags to our consumers. Prices are based upon current Market price. Directions to our Produce Stand: Take Hwy 11 North from Monroe, Ga ~ located on the corner of Hwy 11/ Nicholsville Road, across from Campton Family Restaurant Please check out our Facebook Page... Thompson Family Farms. We have lots of photos of the farm and the produce stand... and of course, the produce. We post when we have a product available and can answer any questions posted. It's hard to catch us on the phone... due to the time we stay at the farm, in the fields or at the stand. Listed is our home telephone number. If you call and we are not available, please leave a message and we will try to contact you back as soon as possible. Thank You! Suzanne Thompson
