Winfield Farm

Nestled in the Santa Ynez River valley about three miles west of Buellton on Highway 246, Winfield Farm is dedicated to top quality produce that tastes good. Owned and operated by Bruce and Diane Steele (Bruce does the farming, Diane does the paperwork), Bruce seeks out heirloom seeds to grow amazingly flavorful fruits and vegetables. We now also offer USDA approved Mangalitsa pork. We have been in operation since 2003, sharing the bounty of our farm with local restaurants as well as the community. Besides Mangalitsa wooly pigs (fast gaining popularity as the "Wagyu beef" of pork ?? definitely not the other white meat!) Winfield Farm seasonal specialties include several varieties of heirloom tomatoes, melons, sweet onions, shallots, summer and winter squash (Kabocha) and pumpkins. Our orchard produces Blenheim apricots, peaches and pears, and we also feature a Caroline raspberry patch. We specialize in strictly fresh, naturally grown produce (no herbicides, pesticides, fumigants or copper), planted with care and hand picked each day. Our farm stand is open on Saturdays in season, and the season depends on Mother Nature (when the tomatoes are ripe!). Chefs and discerning connoisseurs can now also visit the Winfield Farm website to access our Mangalitsa store, where we sell custom processed Mangalitsa products yearlong, depending on availability of market-sized hogs. Visit the Winfield Farm website Mangalitsa page for more information on these special wooly pigs.
