LocalFolks Foods was originally founded in an effort to utilize excess produce from our Homestead Growers mushroom and produce farm. We, along with a cast of supporting friends, including local chefs, and family members, began creating and sampling food creations in 2006. Initially selling through a number of our local farmers markets, and then expanding into local retail establishments. LocalFolks Foods has a simple mission statement: To develop a diverse food line with an emphasis on using local, fresh, natural ingredients. Making a conscience effort to reduce the distances our food travels before consumption.
