We are a collaborative CSA in Hancock and Carson Iowa. All the farmers involved are committed to producing nutritious, naturally grown vegetables. We have years of no-nonsense vegetable growing and are involved in local markets in our area. A CSA works by offering "shares" to the public consisting typically of a box of produce each week. Interested consumers purchase the "share" entitling them to a weekly quantity of seasonal produce for the farming season. Advantages to the Consumer:
*Steady supply of local, ultra-fresh produce.
*Exposure to new vegetables and types of cooking.
*The opportunity to visit the farm once a season.
*Develop a relationship with the farmer(s) that grow your food.
