The Grosso is a deep dusty purple [our Hidcote medium length bud is the darkets purple] and the aroma - highly aromatic, camphor like [versus the Angustifolia which is sweeter scent].The color will last about two years out of direct sun.
The lite purple medium length Angustifolio is a sweeter aroma, and long stemmed Grosso is more camphor aroma. If you want dark color over scent, go with the Hidcote.
