Long View Farm

Gunther and Betty Fischer, owners of Long View Farm, produce chemical free vegetables, fruit, and flowers on two acres of garden space, part of a larger diversified farm. Produce, from asparagus to zinnas, includes five varieties of potatoes, seven varieties of onions, three varieties of garlic, several varieties of tomatoes, cucumbers, hot and sweet peppers and many greens and squashes. Each year Gunther tries new types of exotic vegetables. Betty makes hand-crafted jellies and jams from pure fruit grown on their farm. Co-founders of the Atchison Farmers' Market, with Joan Adam, Gunther and Betty have been a part of the Atchison market since it began in 1998.
