Texas A&M Agriculture graduate starting a second career.

Grade cows bred to black Anugs certified low birth weight bull.. Quality heifers have been kept to serve as replacement herd cows. Have recently purchased another young bull as replacement herd bull this fall. Pastures are fertilized, limed and mowed.

I have used herbicide for weed prevention but due to fencing I am able to keep cattle off the pastures until the time has passed for safe grazing. I am working toward using no herbiside in the near future. All of my cows are "happy" and they could have no better home.

All hay is grown on the property and the cows are fed through the winter on 100% natural protien feed. No growth stimulants are used on the calves. The calves only have calfhood vacination.

All you get from my beef is 100% pure beef. It is offered either totally grass fed or fed for a short period of time on 14% natural protien feed to enhance the marbeling of the meat.

Due to the size of my operation, I am limited to approximately ten to 15 head per year. If you would like to visit the farm and select your own animal, that can be arranged as well.
