Mark's Melon Patch

Mark's Melon Patch is located in southwest Georgia just outside the little town of Sasser - right in the heart of peanut and pecan country. Among old plantation barns, antique tractors, and cotton fields, a visit to Mark's open-air produce market is like stepping back in time. Since 1981, Mark's Melon Patch has grown some of the best farm-fresh produce for miles around, planting almost daily from March to August. Come on in and sit a spell - you'll love our homegrown watermelons, cantaloupes, sweet corn, peanuts, pumpkins, blueberries, and scuppernong grapes.
