We raise registered Suffolk sheep and commercial Angus cattle. Suffolks and Angus are noted meat producers of their species. Sheep and cattle are fed quality hay during the winter and rotational graze our orchard grass pastures during the rest of the year. When the weather turns wet and cold, they have free access to barns bedded with straw over wood shavings and chips.
Customers can find our USDA inspected Beef, Lamb, Lamb Brats and Bacon at area Farmer's Markets. If you need a larger quanitity or special cut for an event, give us a call to discuss price and schedule. Our 2013 Farmers Market season will begin in May and go into October.
Raising registered Suffolk broodstock is a large part of our business. The flock is DNA tested, all sheep are RR or QR and NN Quality brood ewes and ewe lambs are available starting in May. Rams are for sale starting in July. Call to set a date to see our rams, ewes and lambs.
USDA inspected Lamb and Beef available for special occassions and holidays. We have all cuts of Lamb: Racks, Legs, Chops, Steaks, Brats and more, plus Beef Roasts, Steaks, Ground Beef and speciality cuts. We have a new line of gourmet lamb brats made by small-batch processor LINK LAB ARTISAN MEATS, Seattle. Call the farm to make arrangements for pickup or delivery or visit our Farmers Market booth throughout the summer..
