Maveric Heritage Ranch Co. is dedicated to the preservation of rare breeds of livestock and sustainable farming practices. We raise a variety of endangered hog breeds, inlcuding Mulefoot, Guinea & Ossabaw. Other breeds include Belted Galloway Cattle, Jacob Sheep & LaMancha Dairy Goats. All animals are raised on pasture without steroids, hormones, antibiotics or feed enhancements. We firmly believe in the "Eat it to Save it" credo of Slow Food USA, and maintain all our herds for the purpose of preservation and producing exquisite meat products. We offer interships, apprenticeships and farm tours. Please see our website for more details and for pictures of our beautiful breeds.
