McDonald's Greenhouse & Corn Maze

McDonald's Greenhouse, Ltd. is owned and operated by James A. McDonald, a lifelong resident of Muskingum County, Ohio. He obtained a greenhouse and management production degree from the Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute (ATI) in Wooster, Ohio.

Since 1995, McDonald??¢?¯?¿?½??¯?¿?½?s Greenhouse has provided custom landscape and design services, including wall and sidewalk paver installation using Unilock stone, tree planting and removal, and spring and fall flower bed and yard clean up.

McDonald's Greenhouse Retail Shop is open each spring for annuals, bedding plants, hanging baskets, mulch, perennials, trees and shrubs. It is also open each fall for garden mums, pumpkins, gourds, straw, cider and apples.

In 2006, the company took a new direction and planted a 5-acre corn maze. It was a success with thousands of children visiting the farm with their families and school groups. It continues each fall. Families and groups are welcome to visit all weekend. Choose your pumpkin, defeat the corn maze, jump in the giant sand box, pet farm animals, and taste fresh apple cider. You will be surrounded by beautifully colored woods, rolling pastures, barns and greenhouses. It's just part of experiencing autumn on the farm.

Several production greenhouses operate at the family farm on Adamsville Road (State Route 93). Plenty of family live nearby, as well as neighbors and 4-Hers who help with the daily operations no matter the season. Stop by and see the operations. You will get an answer to your gardening or lawncare questions.

McDonald's Greenhouse, Ltd. has over 23,000 square feet of greenhouses. Opening in 1995, we are family owned and operated. We produce annuals and perennials from plugs. Our Spring season begins the last Saturday of April. We produce several thousand annuals in flats, hanging baskets, hanging bags, window boxes and planters.

For the fall season, we grow mums, pumpkins, gourds, wheat, straw and corn. We open again the last Saturday of August and are open daily until Halloween.
