Boise Bonez was inspired by Maggie, our nine year old black lab. She started having hip and joint problems about a year ago. According to our vet she had damage that might be or might not be corrected by surgery. He suggested rest and glucosamine tablets. Well, like most animals and people for that case, Maggie didn't like the glucosamine tablets. We started to look for a healthy dog treat/ biscuit that had a glucosamine additive but could not find one. Then we had a revelation, WHY NOT MAKE OUR OWN!!!! We started playing around with recipes and realized that what we were making was by far a better product than any other we had tried, and we enjoy it. We handcraft gourmet, organic, nutritious dog biscuits in many varieties.
