We are an established year-round CSA, community cooperative located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Our mission is to make good food accessible by giving you the tastes to drive your desire to eat better. We network with approx. 75 farms, locally, for a farm fresh food delivery once a month. By subscribing, members reap the health benefits of eating local & natural foods while helping to build a sustainable community of growers.
Basic Roots was started in December of 2005 to address the needs of the lack of good, local foods. Today we have farmers growing a variety of heirloom crops & more for our group that can't be found anywhere else.

We offer full shares for $50 & 1/2 shares for $35 for the Basic program. This once a month delivery contains a wide variety of all local & regionally sourced produce & eggs with little product. Our Deluxe program for $120 contains quality cuts of meat, value-added products from a variety of farms, diary, grains, personal products & even local wines. We deliver to home or workplace, uptown or downtown, for a small fee. Each delivery includes Digest This! newletter full of food facts & recipes.
