STAM treats do not contain wheat or corn. In fact, they do not contain grains at all. Conventional commercial dog foods already contain plenty of grains. Instead, STAM uses chickpea flour. Chickpeas, also called garbanzo beans, are legumes like lentils and peas. Chickpeas are high in easily digestible protein, are a significant source of calcium and foliate, a good source of dietary fiber, and have a taste dogs love.
Whenever possible, STAM uses fresh local ingredients. When in season, carrots and herbs are picked fresh from the STAM garden. The raw honey, blueberries, blackstrap molasses, and chickpea flour STAM uses is produced in Oregon and the chicken livers for the made-from-scratch chicken stock come from Oregon and Washington.
STAM donates 10% of profits to no-kill animal sanctuaries.
