MERJ Market at Pilot Knob is a sustainable community center for activities, networking, and exchange of goods and skills. MERJ is open from 1-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The MERJ Clean & Green FarMarket offers fresh local produce, eggs, and home-made bread. Typical produce includes salad greens, onions, garlic, mushrooms, and more! MERJ also serves as an alternative pick-up site for the Foothills Bulk Food Buying Co-op, coordinates orders of Kenny's Farmhouse Cheese (Kentucky Proud product), and offers access to other local agricultural products through steer-shares, dairy-shares, etc. MERJ members can also rent community garden beds and use MERJ greenhouse space for their own agricultural projects.

MERJ is located in Big Hill, Kentucky in the southeastern end of Madison County where it joins Estill, Rockcastle, and Jackson Counties. Big Hill is just 2 miles past Indian Fort Theatre on HWY 21/HWY 421. At the HWY T-intersection, there is a building on the left and a gas station on the right.
