The Memphis Farmers Market is a non-profit, volunteer supported weekly event showcasing fresh local produce, meats, baked goods, flowers, herbs and other homemade goods for sale in a family-friendly, health-focused atmosphere. It is held every Saturday, May through October, 7am to 1pm downtown, under the Pavilion of Central Station in the historic South Main Arts District at the corner of G.E. Patterson and Front Street. The market operates rain or shine and offers plenty of free parking, pet
sitting, cooking demonstrations, healthy living information, live music and
of course, the freshest local produce around. Each week has a
theme related to the latest harvest, as well as special family-oriented
events.
