Every winter there are two fruits that are delectably ripening on the tree at the same time, Mandarin oranges and pink guavas. One year, quite by accident, we discovered that these two flavors fully complement each other. The combination of old world flavor of oranges with the tropical flavor of guava produces a rich full-flavored jam that tickles the tongue with the taste of sunshine.
