Healthy Food Grows Close to Home!

... in Merriam, Kansas

2009 OPENING DELAYED - we are looking for a permanent facility to accomplish 6-day market-sales week and certification of a 100-Mile Kitchen. Contacts with connections to philanthropic property owners are encouraged to call with details - we need a benefactor for this non-profit startup.

M.O.M. is a producers-only market to be run at-cost as a non-profit - all proceeds that exceed the weekly costs of running this market will be applied toward more promotion and support for our vendors. Buy/Sell vending is discouraged at our market, with few exceptions - the only food that our vendors may sell will be local organic, natural and free range foods. (more...)
