Farm Fresh Duck Eggs
We have a small flock of heritage breed ducks -- Welsh Harlequins -- who lay scrumptious eggs. With two drakes and 7 hens, I usually have about three extra dozen per week. Duck eggs are higher in protein and vitamins compared to chicken eggs, and are great for baking and eating! We can also provide eggs for hatching (local only--Portland/Vancouver metro area).
Our farm is also home to a family milk cow and a Norwegian Fjord horse, and lots of produce. When we have extra produce, such as lettuce, green beans, rhubarb, and kale, we offer it for sale to locals who value quality produce.
All our animals and our produce are grown with love and sanity -- no hormones, free range as much as possible (predators are a concern), no antibiotics in the feed, and lots of love and tender care.
