We grow all-natural, grass-fed beef on our small farm near Kansas City. Our Simmental-cross cattle are born and raised right here on the farm or nearby and don't receive added hormones or antibiotics, and our grasses (primarily native) are not treated with chemicals. Animals who become ill -- a rare occurrence, since our herd is closed -- are treated but removed from our grass-fed, direct-market program. Our beef is lean but flavorful and tender, and performs well in Artisan beef tastings.
