(lycopercian asculantum)
NEW RELEASE. Outrageous tomato variety.
Named after awesome writer, journalist and teacher. (Please read one of his books) This greenie mutant has some very unusual traits. It blooms in massive clusters of flowers that are very hairy and pump out huge amounts of pollen (not Pollan) that I have observed. Some susceptibility to blossom end rot(BER) wich is fairly common with elongated shape tomatoes.
Taste is much different then Green Zebra(parent).
Much less tartness, more mild with a good sweetness. Had very positive response at the Farmers Market.
