At Michigan Yakkers Farm, all of our animals are raised with the utmost care. They are all offered 'treats' out of our hands. Most are named, and every animal is handled and given affection. We believe that every animal should be treated with kindness and thoughtfulness, regardless of their status as a meat animal or breeder. None of our animals are given hormones. Most of the animals are forage-fed, with 'treats' of grain only given in small amounts. Any grain that is given is medication/antibiotic-free.
