Several years ago, my husband and I felt the need for change. Because being in nature is so important to us, we were drawn to the beauty and relative tranquility of Michigan's Harbor Country. We decided to try our hand at farming. Now our lives are full of new and challenging activities. There is never a dull moment....with pregnant cows, a bull, steers, one llama and numerous barn cats our lives are full. Oh, and we are as organic as we can be at this time! At Middlebrook Farm we raise registered Lowline Angus cattle, for breeding stock and beef. We feel strongly that animals should be raised entirely on their natural diet. And so, our cattle graze a pasture mix of grasses, clover and alfalfa.
