We raise purebred Dexter cattle. This is a small breed of Irish Cattle. We went to
this breed of cattle because of their smaller size and disposition. A 2 year old steer
will weigh on the hoof about 750 lbs and dress out about 340 lbs. on average. This
was the right about for 2 or 3 people for one year.
We offer a few stocker heifers or steers every year-depending on what type of calves
are born.
We feed hay and grass, no growth hormones or antibiodics.
