We are small scale subsistence farmers. That means we grow to feed ourselves first and sell our extras. We believe in the principle of soil stewardship and animal husbandry that honors the animal's natural behaviors. We have a small, approximately one acre, growing area and have vegetables available in season. We have wonderful salad greens in early spring and fall as well as a limited amount of wonderful heirloom varieties of root crops such as radish, beets, potatoes, turnip, carrot, and turnips. Hens are free ranged and locked in for safety at night. Our hens are fed ONLY organic, SOY-free, CORN-free feed, which makes them good for folks following the Weston A. Price diet.
