Muddy Pumpkin Farms is a family farm founded by the Werner brothers. We grow chemical-free vegetables, herbs, and melons using organic techniques and building the organic material in the soil. We are currently working to transition to USDA organic certification. Muddy Pumpkin Farms is located at the confluence of the Missouri and White Rivers in Oacoma, South Dakota. We will attend farmers markets in Chamberlain, Rapid City and Sioux Falls. We also are offering a harvest season shares for our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) this for the summer of 2011. Our specialty is melons. We grew 19 varieties this last year. We are also excited to offer a wide range of culinary herbs and heirloom tomato varieties this coming year. Contact us if you are interested in working on the farm or reserving one of the CSA shares.
