Muscadine grapes are native to the Southeastern United States, particularly Georgia. It is a thick-skinned dark grape with a pungent, fruity flavor. It's a native American grape grown mainly to be eaten although it's also used to make ciders, wine, syrup, sauce and jelly. It makes a wonderful jelly that is great for spreading on hot buttery biscuits or making a delicious pb&j sandwich!
