My farm is nestled in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of southeast Kentucky. I live on a forested mountain with a pond, hiking opportunities, and fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. My daughter and son-in-law live on the farm but due to jobs and school have limited time to help run the farm. I have approximately 1 acre where I grow a wide variety of organic vegetables including onions, beets, sweet potatoes, potatoes, arugula, dill, cilantro, basil, parsley, carrots, beans, corn, tomatoes, peppers, peas, turnips, radishes, winter squash, pumpkins, lettuce, spinach, bok choy, mustard, kale, Chinese cabbage, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, collards, swiss chard, celery, garlic, okra, zucchini, yellow summer squash, cucumbers, watermelon, cantaloupe and kohlrabi .
