USDA Certified Organic. (Salmon flesh) 95 days. Large oval-shaped fruits, 12-16" long, average 12 lbs. Must be harvested exactly at peak ripeness (before full slip) and not a good keeper, but flavor is outstanding. Some gardeners say there is no better melon for flavor if you harvest at the right time. One gardener reports that the melons are so fragrant he can find them in the dark!
