We are pleased to announce that we are one of five growers to win the 2007 Mid-Atlantic Master Farmer Award. This award, co-sponsored by American Agriculturist magazine, and by the Cooperative Extension of Pennsylvania , Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and West Virginia, is considered the "Academy Awards" Lifetime Achievement Award of Agriculture. We are the first organic growers to be presented with the award in New Jersey. The Mid-Atlantic Master Farmer Award was established to recognize "outstanding management, and stewardship and community role models". Bob is well respected in the farming community, and has a passion for anything agriculture. He "knows his stuff", and is often asked to share his expertise at various conferences. (more...)
