Once your vinegar mother is cultured and producing, it will continue to provide you with fresh homemade vinegar for as long as you provide it with wine and water.
This jar provides you with All-Natural Mother of Vinegar Culture and directions for making your own wonderfully delicious homemade vinegar. Since it is made from a neutral base (apple), it can be used to make either red or white wine. Or try it with any other flavored wine or fermented fruit or vegetable.
Net Weight 8 Fluid Ounces
INSTRUCTIONS: In a clean one gallon jar, combine 16 oz. wine, 8 oz. water, and contents of this jar. Cover with loose mesh cloth to allow air transferrence, and store above 80 degrees from 3 to 6 months for complete conversion. Using the same proportions as above, make more vinegar and use the rest of your culture for salads, cooking, cleaning, health, etc. Best results obtained with unsulfated wines. Pasteurize to stop conversion..

Our community is in a remote area along the Columbia River where most of the property is 20 natural acres or more and all of the producers are small family operations.
