Our wool has been processed into 4 oz. skiens and is a natural off-white color. It is ready to be washed with a mild soap and dyed or can be knit in its present form and washed with mild soap after knitting.. Please note that is still contains some lanolin.
Here's your chance to try dyeing your own wool. You can dye wool in your own kitchen using natural products you find in your own yard or garden. Many flowers, barks, plants and seeds will give interesting colors. For instance, Marigolds will dye a soft yellow. Google natural dyeing and see what you find. It's fun and easy. Try Griffin Dyeworks for others.
