I am a happy contentented man. This all began when we started to heat our house with a wood stove. I began to look at wood differently.

First I was mad because I could never get a seasoned cord of wood, it was either green not a full cord or both. The last straw was getting a short deliverey of green wood which included pine!

From then on I began cutting and splitting my own wood. I will NOT cut down a tree. There is enough to be gotten that has either fallen or been cut by some one that didn't like cleaning up the leaves or whatever.

I then realized that some of this wood was too good to be burned in the stove for heat! I took some and used it for smoking foods, it was delicious!

Now I am looking at the wood and realized that it could be used for other things. (more...)
