The New London Field of Greens has been working with the Fiddleheads Food Co-op to create a new farmers market transitioning the old Friday market out of the Fiddleheads parking lot and into the newly renovated parade plaza downtown in front of the train station. The market will take place between 10:00 and 2:00 on Fridays June through October. Free parking is available in front of the Water Street parking garage, but parking is also available inside the parking garages, on State Street, and elsewhere in downtown New London. This will be a comprehensive, fun market with fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, eggs, hand made goods, soaps and other body care products, books by local authors, and a number of other goods.
