New Moon's CSA these days is quite different than it has been in the past and presently operates as a farm collective CSA. In 2010, after the death of my husband, out of necessity, I had to tap into the local farming community to fulfill my obligations to my CSA members. That cooperative effort worked out so well that I plan to continue doing so for the foreseeable future.

By partnering with these other local farms to form a diverse pool of growers and producers, New Moon is able provide members with amazing fresh, local produce for up to 30 weeks out of the year, as well as other locally produced goods.

We will again be at the Davidson Farmer's Market, in Davidson, N. C. for the 2012 season, as well at the Lincolnton Farmer's Uptown Market on Tuesdays and alternating Thursdays. W (more...)

NEW MOON CSA is a little different than it has been in the past because I am now working with a collective group of other local farmers. While I will still be growing and producing some items for inclusion in shares, New Moon is no longer the exclusive supplier for this CSA. By utilizing the diversity of other farms and growers in this area, NMF can now provide a broader selection of produce and fruit for this CSA members.
