NIGHT PHLOX - HEIRLOOM Zaluzianskya capensis
Easy-to-grow annual from South Africa. Blooms open in the evening releasing their sweet, honey-like fragrance. Plant close to your patio to fully enjoy. Does well in pots. Annual 12-14" tall.
Planting Instructions: Start seeds indoors 3-4 weeks before planting out. Sow just beneath the surface of the soil. Seeds should germinate in 7-14 days. Plant outdoors after the last frost. Plants prefer moist, well-drained soil and an open sunny position.
Seed Saving Instructions: Seeds are ready to harvest when the blooms begin to turn brown and dry. The seeds are contained in the very center. When the heads are completely dry, gently crush the heads between your hands and then carefully winnow away the chaff.
